Start Contributing (Make Your First PR)

Explore AOSSIE GitHub repositories and pick beginner-friendly or good-first-issues. Submitting code or documentation pull requests showcases your technical understanding and willingness to collaborate with project maintainers.

Write a Draft Proposal

Select a project idea from our GSoC Ideas List or propose your own innovative feature. Expand the idea into a detailed proposal detailing your technical approach, implementation architecture, timeline milestones, and deliverables.

Discuss with Mentors & Refine

Share your proposal draft with our dedicated mentors on Discord or GitHub. Experienced mentors will review your implementation timeline, provide architectural feedback, and help you refine your application to maximize your selection chances.

Submit Final Application
